Fully Accessible Barbados (FAB) is one of the major programmes of the Barbados Council for the Disabled. As the umbrella body representing 17 Affiliates, the Council was established in 1076 to champion the cause of persons with disabilities and work with the international, private sector and government to effect change and create an inclusive Barbados. The Council's first President was the late Sir William Douglas and the present President is Maria Holder-Small. The programs of the Council over the years has been vast and we are very encouraged by the direction the Fully Accessible Barbados program is headed. This we envisage will help us to achieve our goal of an inclusive Barbados.
