When it comes to Valentine’s Day, the one common question asked is “How are you spending it?”
If you still don’t have an answer to that question, then we suggest soap making.
Yes, this sounds a bit out of the ordinary but it’s an activity that’s both fitting for the day of love or a random Saturday.
HoneyChild Skincare Barbados is to go place for this experience, which can be enjoyed by couples, a group of friends or family.
It’s nestled in Pelican Village, a shopping centre featuring handcrafted goods and trinkets from local entrepreneurs.
Nicole Rowe, the owner, has been in the business for approximately four years, creating products that nourish the skin.
What can you expect?
An intimate, fun and educational experience.
Nicole guides you smoothly through the step by step process, educating you on the basics of the cold process soap making method.
This type of soap making is done from scratch and is one of the most natural forms of soap making. The main ingredients involved are lye, oils, clay and a fragrance. You can choose a variety of scents that define you or one that you simply like to smell.
As pre-pepped is done before the session officially starts, the experience can span from one hour to an hour and half depending on how large your group is.
Each experience can be customized to your preference, so you add wine, music to set the mood, hors d'oeuvres or a charcuterie board.
Whatever you prefer, the soap experience can be specially tailored for you and your loved one.
But there is more…
