COB/BTII Evening of Folk in association with Ministry of Creative Economy, Culture and Sport is an annual theatrical event which explores the 30 year-period between 1937 to 1967 when the island was in a state of unrest and locals were fighting against the injustices in Barbadian society.The dramatic presentation which is written by Kenneth Jack Lewis will feature a team of talented Barbadian dancers and actors such as Shannon Arthur, Shea Best, Angelo Lascelles, Ishiaka McNiel and Telia Williams. Alison Sealy-Smith will direct the dance theatre piece.
