Hastings Farmers Market

Hastings Farmers Market is in an easy to find location, directly across the road from the beautiful South Coast boardwalk and bandstand, adjacent to the striking pink building that is home to the Artsplash Centre. 

The market is open every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday all year round. It is not to be missed if you're looking for local artisan-created arts & crafts, souvenirs, jewellery, basketry, pottery, wood carving, hair braiding, crocheting, hand-made soaps, soft furnishings, bags, toys & quilts, summer clothing and more. Take some time out to browse around the stalls, relax and enjoy the delightful ambience and the shade of the many tents. Chat with our extremely friendly and helpful vendors, and experience some of the best shopping Barbados has to offer. 

You'll also discover a tempting array of locally produced food items.... chutneys & preserves, freshly baked breads, home-made fudge, cakes, pastries, patties, the best hummus, and hot food choices such as rotis, bakes and fish cakes which make perfect lunchtime snacks. 

On Saturdays we have the Barbados Reiki Association offering an holistic healing & relaxation experience for both mind and body. 

And let's not forget our local farmers who showcase a colourful selection of seasonal fruits & veggies, plants, cooking herbs, home-reared chicken, and eggs! 

Arty's Play Park wonderful play park with zip lines, climbing frames, slides and more. Awesome fun for the little ones but it also offers a shady deck area for mums and dads to sit awhile and chill. 

The Artsplash Centre has an amazing café, offering coffees & teas, freshly blended smoothies, and a deliciously healthy and wholesome menu for both breakfast and lunch. With free WiFi connection and a delightful art gallery exhibiting local artwork, it's the perfect spot to enjoy simply being on Bajan time!
