There really is no better place to be right now than in Barbados! Our borders have reopened, so hop on the first flight and head to the Grantley Adams International Airport. Our protocols are reviewed bi-weekly to ensure you can come and enjoy the beautiful sights, relax on our unspoiled beaches and swim in the clear blue waters of Barbados.
Entry Requirements
Along with your bathing suit and sunblock be sure you have all of the documentation newly required for entry into this paradise.
● A completed Embarkation/ Disembarkation card - the application form can be found at www.travel.gov.bb.
● Proof of a negative PCR test, taken within a one week or 72-hour period prior to arrival in the country dependant on your country of origin. (Read More)
● Don’t worry! If you arrive without a test and one was required we are happy to oblige. You can get your test done here and wait for the results at select facilities, hotels or holding locations. (Read More)
● If you are just passing through Barbados in transit, you should also already have your negative Covid-19 test or risk missing out on setting foot (even for a short while) in the best place in the world. - Yes! That was a shameless plug for Barbados
At the Airport
On arrival at the Grantley Adams International Airport (GAIA) you will notice a number of protocols in place.
● 1st Up! Follow the signs to help you navigate the newly implemented arrival process as efficiently as possible
● Markers are affixed to the floors and seats to ensure physical distancing is maintained at all times.
● Next, Sanitize! Sanitize! Sanitize!...No Exceptions
● Visitors MUST wear masks AT ALL TIMES at the airport.
● Also, note our employees will be outfitted in Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for your protection and ours.
Around the Island
As you travel around the island you will also notice that many entities, amenities and attractions have also adopted safety protocols in an effort to keep their employees and customers safe.
● We still maintain the spirit of warmly embracing all visitors, but now we do it with one (1) metre of social distancing between individuals.
● You should wear a mask while in public! Use your old one or replace it with a new colourful Bajan handmade mask - get one to match every sundress. It’s fashion and function!
● Practising good hygiene is a must! Wash your hands and sanitize regularly. We recommend as a best practice to washing your hands for the length of the chorus of your favourite calypso tune! Anyone will do! Just try not to get carried away!
Your Departure
We really enjoy your company and would love for you to stay, so much so that we’ve implemented a 12-Month Welcome Stamp! - Just apply to remote work from Barbados, the vacation need not end.
● Bypass the usual 6-month maximum stay to work remotely for a year beachside, poolside or even at one of our picnic stops. The possibilities are endless.
● When your stay ends, be sure to follow the previously mentioned protocols for traversing the airport as you wait to catch your flight out of paradise.
● You can also get your PCR test before you leave and can make those arrangements by emailing [email protected] 72 hours before your departure.
All of our implemented protocols reflect Barbados’ ongoing commitment to remain a safe and charming destination and provide that framework for ensuring your stay is just as you are accustomed. Please refer to the graphics for more details
